Liberty Group's hotel plans move forward after judge's ruling on Tampa rezoning power

The 13th Judicial Circuit Court has ruled in favor of the Liberty Group in its legal battle with the city of Tampa. Judge Anne-Leigh Gaylord Moe issued a final judgment on one count on Dec. 19 in the lawsuit between Tampa-based Liberty Group and the city of Tampa. The lawsuit began after the City Council rejected Liberty's planned boutique hotel on Harbour Island.
